All guests in posession of an guestcard (KönigsCard, SchwangauCard) can ride regional buses and trains for free during their stay in Schwangau.

Buses to theses places are free of charge with your electronic guest card: Schwangau, Füssen, Rieden am Forggensee, Eisenberg, Halblech, Hopferau, Lechbruck am See, Nesselwang, Pfronten, Roßhaupten, Rückholz und Seeg. More information: www.allgaeu-mobil.de 

Trains are free of charge for the following destinations: Füssen - Kaufbeuren or Pfronten - Kempten. 

Please notice that the free bus and train rides are only available if you are in posession of an guest card.  Please ask your host or landlord before your arrival, which card you will obtain.

From July 1st to August 31st, 2022 there will be additional regular bus connections in the evening, with which you can travel car-free in the neighboring communities of Schwangau, Füssen, Pfronten and Hopferau.

The late bus runs daily and with fixed departure times on two rounds. The central starting and transfer point is the Füssen bus station. Line 78 in the direction of Schwangau and drives to all Schwangau districts and the Bannwaldsee campsite one after the other before the bus arrives back in Füssen. Line 111 connects Füssen with Hopfen am See, Hopferau, Pfronten and Weißensee.

The fare is a uniform 2.50 euros, regardless of the length of the journey.

Children under the age of six and passengers with guest cards from Schwangau, Pfronten Hopferau and Füssen travel free of charge.
